Well, here's your chance... On Wednesday 19 August join the Kirklees Light Railway as we welcome THREE fairytale princesses to Shelley Station for a pop-up meet & greet event.
The princesses want to spread a little joy and happiness in a world that has been rocked so far this year, so come & say hello.
Meeting the princesses is FREE for valid day ticket holders and there will be three sessions held throughout the day at 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm.
Please book your tickets HERE by selecting Wednesday 19 August & your chosen departure time. There's no need to click on or book anything special as the princesses will be ready and waiting for their fans on the day.
ON THE DAY INFO
Please note that this is a pop-up meet & greet session only, not a large scale Princess event.
Visitors will have the chance to chat with the princesses and have photos taken at intervals during the day. The princesses will remain socially distanced from their fans so please ensure children remain 2m distant at all times.
The meet & greet sessions will take place at Shelley Station at 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm on Wednesday 19 August 2020. All visitors will need to have pre-booked valid day tickets for the railway and will need to start their journey at Clayton West Station.
To have a chance to meet the princesses, you will need to be booked onto the 14.20 service at the very latest (we advise picking an earlier service to be on the safe side!).
Food & drink will be available to purchase on the day from the Bufferstop Cafe at Clayton West Station.
We anticipate that this pop-up event will be VERY popular so please book your tickets in advance.
Annual Passes, Groupons, vouchers & promo tickets ARE valid.
Once booked, tickets are non-refundable unless in the event of service cancellation.
Please note that all passengers over the age of 11 years who travel on our trains will be required to wear a face mask/covering until further notice. This is a UK Government directive applicable to all modes of public transport in England and - according to the UK Government - heritage railways are a form of public transport.
