The time you select is the time your Christmas Elf Experience starts at Clayton West Station - please don't be late!

ALL CHILDREN ON THE CHRISTMAS ELF EXPERIENCE MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AT LEAST ONE ADULT

Separate social bubbles should make separate bookings.

Any bookings made for more than six people or with more than three adults will be automatically put on hold pending questioning by KLR staff.

The Christmas Elf Experience does NOT feature a train ride nor a visit to see Santa - please book these separately if you wish to.

Booking Information

Until social contact restrictions are lifted, please only book for your immediate household/social bubble.

Until further notice, visitors will be permitted to gather in groups of not more than two households or within the 'rule of six' when OUTDOORS at the KLR but not when on the trains, where social distancing must still be maintained until social contact limits are eased.

A £1.80 transaction fee will be added per booking (not per ticket)
Bookings for this service are e-ticket only. Please bring your e-ticket/email confirmation with you on the day (on your phone is fine!)

WHOOPS! Two of Santa’s cheeky elves have missed the sleigh and failed to make it to the North Pole!

So, Santa has set them to work, recruiting new elves into the festive ranks.

This enchanting 45 minute adventure will see new elf recruits (young and old!) learning just what it takes to be a cheeky Christmas elf.

Led by only the very cheekiest of Santa’s elves, you'll learn how to walk, talk and act like an elf; there’ll be singalongs, perhaps a little bit of mayhem, definitely some sparkle and maybe even a few Christmassy craft activities to complete.

Also included in your ticket price:

Rides on the miniature ride-on railway around the duck pond
Access to the playground at Clayton West

PLEASE NOTE: The Christmas Elf Experience does NOT feature a visit to see Santa or a train ride. If you want to meet Santa in his grotto, you'll need to book onto our Santa Specials separately HERE.

** IMPORTANT INFO **

Tickets will be released in stages to allow for the KLR to keep up with changes to COVID restrictions as the year progresses and allow for COVID secure measures to be in place if necessary (such as social distancing).

If you book tickets in the first wave release, we will NOT be able to move them to a different date/time if/when there is a second wave of tickets released.

Therefore, please only make a booking if you're certain about the date/time.

Concessions, family tickets, discounts, vouchers, promotions, passes & offers are NOT available/valid for the Christmas Elf Experience

All bookings incur a £1.80 booking fee per transaction (not per ticket).

Advance booking is necessary!

Tickets to the Santa Specials must be booked separately.

HOW TO BOOK

Tickets are limited and are for sale ONLINE ONLY from www.kirkleeslightrailway.com

We are unable to accept bookings over the phone or in person as a result of reduced staffing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please cooperate with us on this.

We anticipate that face coverings MAY need to be worn (unless you are under 11 or have an exemption) in the station facilities & inside the Christmas Elves Experience. We will, of course, be led by the Government & Public Health England guidance.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless the event is cancelled by the KLR. If the event runs as scheduled but a ticket holder is unable to attend/use their tickets, no refund will be given.

The Kirklees Light Railway will do its best to operate the advertised events. Should the KLR cancel an advertised event, tickets may be transferred to an alternative time (subject to availability) or a full refund may be given.
