Tickets are available ONLINE ONLY - please do not call, message or email to make a booking as we will not be able to help.
The time you select is the time your train DEPARTS Clayton West Station - please don't be late!
PLEASE NOTE:
Seats are allocated. Any tickets booked together on one order will be seated together with no social distancing.
We therefore insist that bookings are made for no more than six people or two households maximum.
Separate social bubbles should make separate bookings.
Any bookings made for more than six people or with more than three adults will be automatically put on hold pending questioning by KLR staff.
There's a real treat in store for the young ones this Christmas as they join Mrs Claus for her Christmas Adventure!
Bring your little ones (age 0-5) on Mrs Claus' BRAND NEW Christmas Adventure at the KLR and enjoy a magical day out.
You'll start your adventure with a return steam train ride* to Mrs Claus' cosy cabin at Cuckoo's Nest where the little ones will receive a special golden coin from one of Santa's elves.
Upon your return from Cuckoo's Nest, you'll visit Mrs Claus for an enchanting Yuletide tale.
After storytime is over, you'll be invited to meet the Claus family's very special guest - one of Santa's baby reindeer**!
After going ga-ga over the gorgeous reindeer, the little ones will be able to spend their golden coin in Mrs Claus' special Christmas shop, selecting a gift of their very own to take home and cherish.
Also included in your ticket price:
- Rides on the miniature ride-on railway around the duck pond
- Access to the playground at Clayton West
- Platform rides aboard Tram No. 7

PLEASE NOTE: Mrs Claus' Christmas Adventure does NOT feature a visit to see Santa. If you want to meet Santa in his grotto, you'll need to book onto our separate Santa Specials event.

TICKET PRICES
- Adult: £10.95
- Child (over 12 months): £11.95
- Baby (under 12 months): £8.95
Child and baby tickets both include a gift, although baby tickets do not have a seat allocation and babies need to sit on an adult's knee.
Concessions, family tickets, discounts, vouchers, promotions, passes & offers are NOT available/valid on Mrs Claus' Christmas Adventure.
All bookings incur a £1.80 booking fee per transaction (not per ticket).
Advance booking is necessary!
HOW TO BOOK

We are unable to accept bookings over the phone or in person as a result of reduced staffing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please cooperate with us on this.

- Due to the reductions in staff/volunteers as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, tickets will NOT be available over the phone or in person unless specifically stated on the website booking page

- We anticipate that face coverings MAY need to be worn on the trains (unless you are under 11 or have an exemption), in the station facilities & inside the Mrs Claus' Adventure. We will, of course, be led by the Government & Public Health England guidance.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless the service is cancelled by the railway. If a service operates as scheduled but a ticket holder is unable to attend/use their tickets, no refund will be given.
The Kirklees Light Railway will do its best to operate the advertised train services. Should the KLR cancel an advertised train, tickets may be transferred to an alternative train (subject to availability) or a full refund may be given.
